The brief

💡

Coursera is great at delivering courses and less great at delivering outcomes. Learners finish a specialization and are left to translate it into a job, a promotion, or a portfolio on their own.

Our focus was to develop a solution that helps Coursera give students a transferable learning experience through a proposed feature set — the kind of work a PM does before a single screen is drawn.

Approach

The dossier walks through the product-management cycle end to end: framing the problem and the user, sizing the opportunity, prioritizing candidate features, defining requirements, and laying out how success would be measured. It is written to be handed to an engineering and design team as a starting point.
